NEWS RELEASE
Renovations have been completed at a 94-room Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham at Fishers Road and Route 96 in Victor.
Pittsford-based Microtel licensee Indus Hospitality Group recently announced that the $1.3-million project has been completed, and that it was planning to open a new four-story, 77-room Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Penn Yan, Yates County, later this month.
Indus is also working on a mixed-use, six-story, 80-room Hampton Inn on Panorama Trail in Penfield. The location will house the company’s corporate offices. Completion is set for the summer of 2016.
“We are committed to an optimal guest experience at each of our properties and our staff continually delivers on that promise,” said Indus President Jett Mehta. “Indus is fortunate to be embraced by the communities we serve and we are proud to be a part of our region’s exceptional hospitality industry.”
The Victor facility now includes an expanded lobby, a fitness center, renovated rooms, new furniture, bedding and other amenities.
“Over the years, the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham brand has earned a strong reputation for consistency, quality, and value among discerning travelers,” said Aly El-Bassuni of Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham. “Jett Mehta and the team at Indus have been essential in helping the brand to build that reputation and it’s because of owners like them — who believe in the brand and are willing to invest — that Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham continues to grow and be successful.”
